Baru-baru ini, pemenang kategori dalam 2011 International Photography Award telah diumumkan. Daripada beribu-ribu penyertaan IPA yang diterima tahun ini, hanya pemenang kategori utama akan bergerak sebagai finalis untuk bersaing bagi anugerah tertinggi IPA Photographer of the Year Antarabangsa. Pemenang akan diumumkan pada Anugerah Lucie tahunan (annual Lucie Awards) yang akan diadakan di Lincoln Center, New York pada 24 Oktober 2011. Pemenang itu akan mendapat anugerah Patung Lucie dan hadiah wang tunai sebanyak $10,000.
